Webb, David

David Webb

David Webb was only 23 years old when he opened his boutique in New York in 1948. His bold and colourful designs immediately drew attention and soon he could add names like Elizabeth Taylor, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Barbra Streisand to his directory. Unfortunatly he died far too young at the age of 50 but he left almost 40.000 original sketches that are still used today to create his jewellery.
