Becker, Friedrich

Friedrich Becker (1922-1997) originally trained as an engineer but his interests changed later in life to jewellery and sculptures. His jewels are always technically imaculate, the designs sleek and minimalist. In particular his kinetec jewellery is surprising and inventive; only a few jewellery designers applied the ’60’s kinetic movement from the visual arts to  jewels . His work kan be found in many important collections and museums.
