Hermès

In 1837 Thierry Hermès opened in Paris a workshop for equestrian accessories. When means of transport by horse minimalized Hermès started to specialize in all sorts of luggage. In the 1920’s also watches, jewellery and decoration were added to the collection. In 1938 the first ‘Chaîne d’Ancre’-bracelet was produced. It was an immediate succes and since then one of the most iconic chains worldwide.
