Cipullo, Aldo

Many know his designs but not many know his name nor his face. Meet Aldo Cipullo (1935-1984): Cartier hired him in 1969 to spice up their collection and he certainly did. He is the designer of iconic jewels as the ‘Love’-bracelet and the ‘Juste un Clou’-bracelet. Both designed in the 1970’s but still in production and both still a huge success. Cipullo made many other designs for Cartier; all very fashionable and funky. Unfortunately he died far too young but his designs are more in demand then ever.
