A pair of eighteen carat yellow gold earrings designed as a round clip on the ear with two cornelian rings. Signed Aldo Cipullo for Cartier, made in New York, dated 1972. Cartier employed Aldo Cipullo to make for them a modern designers jewellery collection. Legendary results are the “Love Bracelet” and the bracelet “Juste un Clou”, both even now in production by Cartier. Unfortunately Cipullo died too young. His designs are iconic for the 1970s and now very much in demand.
