Jensen, Georg

Georg Jensen started working as a silversmith in Denmark around the year 1900. His early work was inspired by the classic organic Art Nouveau, later is work becomes more stylised. But even then the organic shapes are dominant which makes his work very recognisable and timeless. And still beloved by many because even now his designs are produced in the Jensen workshops, almost exactly as they were created a century ago.
