Pomellato

Pino Rabolini of Pomellato history Marjan Sterk Fine Art JewelleryPino Rabolini (1936–2018) was born into a family of goldsmiths and brought a bold vision to the traditionally conservative world of fine jewellery. In 1967, he founded Pomellato in Milan, pioneering the concept of prêt-à-porter jewellery—ready-to-wear pieces inspired by the dynamic world of fashion. Pomellato quickly became known for its distinctive aesthetic: rounded, sensual forms and vibrant gemstones, brought to life through innovative stone-cutting and setting techniques. This unmistakable style remains the brand’s signature. All Pomellato jewellery is still handcrafted in-house at Casa Pomellato, where around 100 artisans ensure exceptional quality. The maison also collaborates with a Milanese goldsmith school to preserve and pass on its artisanal heritage to future generations.
