René Kern opens in 1950 on the prestigious Königsallee in Düsseldorf, Germany, where all the top clientèle of Germany and abroad come to shop. Untill 1979 he produces high end jewellery and “objets d’art”. Unfortunately he has no successor but the brand is continued and now part of Bucherer of Switzerland.
