Dinh Van, Jean

In 1927 Jean Dinh Van was born in a French-Vietnamese family. In 1946 his career started behind the workbench at Cartier. In 1965 he opened his own studio and in 1976 the first shop of his own brand is founded and many would follow. At the end of the 1960’s the cooperation with Cartier is renewed and in those day he made for Cartier New York some iconic designs. Jean Dinh Van stands for pure and minimalist designs and they have turned out to be timeless.
