Cartier ‘Djigar’ necklace

An eighteen carat yellow gold “Djigar” necklace, comprising a central section formed by six cascading chains of lozenge-shaped links, with on either side an element in the form of a stylized elephant, with a faceted emerald set as the eye, above this are mounted three chains of lozenge-shaped links, attached to a sliding clasp designed as three stylized bamboo stalks. Signed Cartier, made in Paris, circa 1995. Numbered and in original fitted case.
