A set of two eighteen carat yellow gold Ladybird brooches, the shields cut from coral and set with diamonds. Both signed Cartier Paris, made ca 1960. The ladybird is a well-known symbol for luck. Since the 1920s it has also been the mascot for Cartier. They have been made in designs matching the fashion of the time.
