A twenty carat yellow gold ring designed as a cubic basket made of irregular gold wire, holding a white cultured pearl (diameter ca. 8 mm.), the shank ending in a gold wire square base. Maker’s mark of Robert Smit, Delft (this mark was in use from 1968 to 1976), made ca 1970.
